Is Refract Funding legal? Is this gambling?
Refract Funding is a skill-based simulated trading program, not a casino, a brokerage, or an exchange. You never stake money on market outcomes; every account trades simulated capital on real, live market data, and payouts are earned for performance under the official rules.
Is there really no evaluation?
Correct. There is no challenge phase, no profit target, no minimum trading days, and no consistency rule. You buy a funded account, it activates immediately, and the only account-ending trading rule is the published trailing drawdown.
Why not just trade Polymarket directly?
Trading a venue directly means funding your own bankroll and eating every loss. At Refract Funding the accounts are simulated, so the account price is all you ever risk; funded traders keep the published percentage of eligible simulated profits under the program rules.
When and how do I get paid?
From day one. Your first withdrawal is eligible immediately; there is no consistency rule and no minimum trading days. You choose the amount, up to your live withdrawable balance, whenever your book is flat. Your share is calculated as the published percentage of the amount you withdraw, and further requests can be made on the published cadence once every payout rule is met. A safety buffer, published up front, always stays in the account to keep it alive.
Is there KYC?
Not to get started. You can sign up, trade the simulator, compete, and buy a funded account without verifying your identity. We only run a one-time identity check before your first payout, so we pay the right person and stay compliant.
What happens if I hit the drawdown?
The account closes and you lose the purchase price and any unwithdrawn simulated profit; there is no debt and no obligation. Profit you already withdrew stays yours. A new account is the same fresh start as the first one, whenever you are ready.
